James Vavrek

James is Pacific Northwest born and raised and ultimately planting his roots in Boise in 1998 after graduating from the University of Portland. After working in the offices of both Idaho Governor Phil Batt and United States Senator Larry Craig, James made the decision to attend law school at the University of Idaho.

After graduating James returned to Boise and has spent most of the past fifteen years exclusively engaged in the criminal law field. Working for nearly a decade as a deputy county prosecutor and as both a public defense attorney and private defense attorney, James brings a wide range of trial experience and passion for helping individuals navigate the pressures of facing criminal charges.

James is admitted to the practice of law in both Idaho and the federal courts. He additionally is a member of both the Idaho Association of Criminal Defenses Attorneys and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys.

When James is assisting his clients he is likely to be found enjoying the Idaho outdoors with his wife and young son. James additionally is an avid tennis player and enjoys hiking with his 1 year old goldendoodle.
